Opening cocktail party benefits Wetland’s Institute

The Wetlands Institute and the 27th Annual Wings ‘N Water Festival host the highly anticipated Cocktail Party and Benefit Auction, Sept. 18, at 6 pm. Party-goers can enjoy delicious food and refreshments while previewing and bidding on the hundreds of items, knowing that each dollar raised enables the Wetlands Institute to continue its good work.
Exhibitors and sponsors from all over the nation have generously provided the Wetlands Institute with fabulous items for bidding.
The silent auction will bid off exciting items such as fine art, exotic vacations, home décor, gift certificates to local restaurants, men and women’s clothing and accessories, and tickets to sporting events, concerts, museums and other entertainments.
The Live Auction features even more great items, offering exclusive tickets, fine dining, beautiful fine art, unusual experiences and vacations, as well as an abundance of other amazing items.
Doors open at 6 p.m. in the Big Top Tent at the Institute, and the silent auction begins immediately, with the live auction commencing at 7:30 p.m.
A $50 general admission fee includes access to the open bar and bountiful hors d’ouvres. A $100 Patron ticket additionally entitles donors to a priority entrance badge to the festival, a festival program and recognition in the auction program, while the $150 sponsor ticket entitles all of the above as well as one reserved seat at the auction.
Purchase your auction ticket by calling the office at the Wetlands Institute at 609-368-1211. Absentee bids are also available for those who cannot attend the auction.
