SHELDON, CONSTANCE MARIE

Constance Marie Sheldon, 88, passed away February 23, 2021. She was born in Goshen, NJ on February 20, 1933 to the late Millard and Margaret (nee Pastre) High. Constance attended Middle Township High School and Cape May County Vocational Technical Center becoming a Medical Dental Assistant. She was pre-deceased by her husband, John Sumner Sheldon and Robert Howard Thiemeyer. Constance was a lifelong resident of Cape May County and a member of Cape May Court House United Methodist Church.She is survived by her loving children, Robert David Thiemeyer, Terry (Larry) Gossin, Deborah Aguis, and Timothy Allen Thiemeyer. Grandchildren: Bethany Carl (Christopher), Matthew Gossin (Brittany), and Daniel Gossin (Kristin). Great Grandchildren: Benjamin Carl, Abigail Carl, Timothy Carl, Lilly MacArthur, Cadence Gossin, Caleb Gossin, and Adalynn Gossin. She is also survived by her sister Margaret “Peg” LloydConnie loved her family, reading, music, and being on the dance floor at all family celebrations. She is remembered well for her gentle and supportive nature. Her faith and walk with God was a central focus throughout her life. “On Eagle’s Wings” was one of her favorite hymns.Due to Covid-19 a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
