Christopher Joseph Burcher, age 63, passed away at home on May 16, 2022. Born March 2, 1959 in Camden, NJ, beloved son of the late Joseph and Vida Burcher, Chris was the former captain of the commercial fishing vessel Courageous out of Cape May, NJ. He resided in Cape May, N.J. and more recently Haddonfield, N.J. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 501 Cape Ave, Cape May Point, NJ at 10:30 a.m. where visitors will be welcomed from 10:00-10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher’s memory to the Nature Conservancy, for the benefit of the South Cape May Meadows, 200 Pottersville Rd, Chester, NJ 07930.
