MURDOCK, LAWRENCE V.

MURDOCK, LAWRENCE V., of Wildwood (3/31/50 2/24/13) He passed away suddenly early Sunday morning. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Linda Murdock, his son James Nickerson and wife Marlayna, two daughters and son in law Karen Blanchard (Jon Blanchard) and Kelly Nickerson, two beautiful grand children Caleb and Julia “Rosie” Nickerson, a sister Pattie Evans, and brother John Dadura. Larry was most proud of his 33 yr Military career serving first with the Army, followed by the National Guard. He served in 2 wars, Desert Storm 90-91 and Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003. He retired after 29 yrs from The City of Wildwood Boardwalk Department He is now joining his beloved son in law who passed before him, Jon Todd Blanchard. Services will be held Saturday, March 2, 12 noon at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave, North Wildwood NJ. Friends may call at 11am, services to follow at C.M.C. Veterans Cemetery in Middle Township. In lieu of flowers contributions are being made to: Americas Vet Dogs, 371 East Jericho Turnpike, Smithtown, NY 11787-2976
