MILES, HARRY E.

Harry E. Miles, age 69, of Cape May Court House, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Harry was born January 14, 1949. He was the husband of the late Anita Rosenberg, and the son of the late Harry Miles and the late Doris (Loveland) Miles.Harry is survived by two stepchildren, Daniel Rosenberg and his wife Linda of Charlotte, NC, and Laura Larson Rosenberg Garroway-Myers and her husband Ryan of San Rafael, CA. Also surviving are his brother Peter Miles and wife Tomoko Terada Miles of San Francisco, CA. Harry was the brother of the late Andrea Miles Thoma of Grass Valley, CA. His childhood was passed in Penns Grove, NJ, Naperville, IL and Media, PA, and he was a long time resident of Reading, PA and Corte Madera, CA.Harry was a veteran of the Vietnam war, serving in combat on the River Patrol Force of the US Navy. In later life, despite severe disabling injuries sustained in an accident, he was able to operate personal businesses for many years, first restoring cars in Reading, and then later doing maintenance and overhauls of yachts, out of a shop in Sausalito, CA.
