KAJKOWSKI, EILEEN, age 69

KAJKOWSKI, EILEEN, age 69, of Del Haven, NJ passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Cooper University Hospital of Camden, NJ. Eileen was born January 4, 1948 in New York City, NY; formerly lived in Ringoes, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident for 9 years. She is the daughter of the late Lawrence and the late Helen (McGovern) Farrell. Eileen was a graduate of St John University and Rutgers University. She was employed by American Cyanamid/Pfizer Corp. of Princeton, NJ as an Immunologist. Eileen was a volunteer with Volunteers in Medicine, was a member of the Good Samaritans at St John of God RC Church, a member of the Garden Club and Herb Society of America. She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Kajkowski; one son: Matthew (Amy) Kajkowski; and one sister: Kathleen Woods. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Ellen & Matthew, Jr. and her niece Laura Woods. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204, and again Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Eileen’s memory to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Grand Central Station, PO Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
