CAMMAROTA, MARIE KATHERINE, 92, of Stone Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully on January 27, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She trained as a Cadet Nurse during World War II in New York City prior to raising her family. Marie married the late Anthony Vincent Cammarota, and lived on Long Island, NY and later in Vineland, NJ, where he was the proprietor of Anthony Ford.Marie is predeceased by her brothers Paul and Jack Mikush. She is survived by her sister Charlotte Pomianek (Theodore) of Clinton NJ and Jack’s wife Dottie Mikush. Surviving children are Patricia Davis of Ponte Vedra Beach FL, John Cammarota (Jean) of Rockville Center NY, Cynthia Sabina (Rendon) of Newcastle ME, Anthony Cammarota of Washington DC, Paula Marshall (Jeffrey) of Scarborough ME, Joseph Cammarota (Lisa) of Round Hill, VA and Theresa Doubleday (Adam) of Wenonah, NJ. Mommy/Nana will be missed by her seven children, fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She leaves many happy memories with all who knew her, including her nephews, nieces, and her ongoing circle of friends.Funeral services were held February 3, 2018 at Saint Brendan The Navigator Parish, Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church.
