BROOKS, FLORA E., 88, of North Cape May passed away peacefully with her loving daughter, Claudia, at her side on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at North Cape Center. Born in Norristown, Pa and formerly of Oak Valley, NJ; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1971. Flora enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, and needlepoint. She adored her one and only granddaughter, Victoria, who she called her honey-honey. Flora was a former member of the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Villas and of the Eastern Star of El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl R Brooks in February of 1998. Flora is survived by her daughter Claudia R (John) Kammer of Erma, NJ; her sister Joie (Doug) Stover of OR; and her granddaughter Victoria. Funeral services were private.
