North Wildwood VFW Post 5941 Announces Patriotic Essay Winners

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5941 announced the names of first place winners from the Wildwoods for the VFW’s Patriot’s Pen essay contest including: 
Micah E. Rucci, a senior at Wildwood Catholic High School; Christian R. Harkins, an eighth grader at Cape Trinity Catholic School, Kartrina M. Frey, a seventh grader at Wildwood Crest Elementary School; Jackson T. Hesley, Grade 7 Brenna Farrell, Grade 6 Lisa J. Cherifi, and Margaret Mace Elementary Grade 8 Kara M. McLaughlin.
All winners moved to the Cape May County judging levels in which Margaret Mace Grade 8 student McLaughlin placed 1st in the “2017 Patriots Pen” essay competition grades 6 to 8. She will now proceed to the state level judging from Cape May County for the New Jersey entry winner.
