North Wildwood Beach Patrol Announces Limited Coverage for Closing of 2018 Summer Season

NORTH WILDWOOD – The North Wildwood Beach Patrol has announced that it has limited coverage for beaches through Sept. 3 (Labor Day) and on the weekend after Labor Day, Sept. 8–9. Five beaches will be protected from Sept. 4–7. Those beaches are 5th, 10th, 15th, 18th and 22nd avenues. Coverage is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ocean and Surf avenues will not be protected after Sept. 3 (Labor Day).
A response team will be available for emergency calls from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends of Sept. 15–16 and Sept. 22–23. North Wildwood Beach Patrol strongly urges beach patrons to swim at lifeguard-protected beaches only. For information, please contact North Wildwood Beach Patrol headquarters at (609) 522-7500.
