Members and the public are invited to an evening of bargains at the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce annual auction, Aug. 26 at the Courtyard at Atkinson’s, 1010 Rt. 9 South in Mayville.
This year’s theme is a western rodeo, so put on your spurs, saddle up your horse, and ride on down.
The auction benefits the chambers special events fund, which enables the organization to sponsor community events throughout the year.
Once again, chamber member, “Buffalo” Bob Noel will be the auctioneer, and you don’t need to rob a bank to afford these bargains.
Auction items are being solicited from area businesses and individuals by chamber board member, Jennifer Armstrong. If you have an item to contribute, call 609-231-8106 or e-mail chuckjen@comcast.net.
Items being rounded up include golf packages, boat rentals, gift baskets, sporting event tickets, restaurant gift cards, salon, auto service and personal care gift certificates.
Member businesses are encouraged to bring along their staff, friends or any prospective new members.
The chuck wagon will serve vittles at 6 p.m. with the auction to follow. There will be a cash bar.
