March 16 Event in Stone Harbor To Protect Beach Nesting Birds

STONE HARBOR – Join Endangered and Nongame Species Program staff for an afternoon of beach nesting bird fencing! Volunteers will help place fencing and signs March 16, around nesting areas at Stone Harbor Point.
Participants must be able to comfortably walk moderate to long distances in soft sand. Some volunteers will be needed to pound posts into the sand while others can do the less intensive work of signing, stringing, and flagging.
