“Lowe’s Heroes” Program at the Cape May County Park and Zoo

By On Deck Staff

Volunteers from the Lowe’s store in Cape May County convened at the County Park and Zoo on Nov. 17 as part of the “Lowe’s Heroes” Program.
Park Director Mike Laffey said, “The “Lowe’s Heroes” project includes $1,250 dollars worth of planting material such as shrubs and mulch for the Zoo’s courtyard area. The material was donated by Lowe’s and more than 40 volunteers over three days will contribute 4 hours each for over one-hundred and sixty man hours to help plant and beautify the area.”
Each year “Lowe’s Heroes” volunteer program helps to improve the communities where Lowe’s employees work and live.
