Sea Isle City Police Promote Bradshaw to Detective Sgt.

SEA ISLE CITY – Mayor Leonard Desiderio presided over a swearing-in ceremony at City Hall May 5, during which William Bradshaw took the oath of office and was promoted to Detective Sgt. with the Sea Isle City Police Department (SICPD).
While attending Stockton University, Bradshaw joined the SICPD as a Class II Officer at age 19. After graduating from Stockton in 2004 with a degree in Criminal Justice, he became a full-time member of the SICPD. 
As Detective Sgt., some of Bradshaw’s responsibilities include overseeing criminal investigations, conducting background checks, managing evidence, and compiling audio/video evidence used as discovery in court. Additionally, he will continue to serve as one of two Accreditation Managers to help maintain the SICPD’s status as a fully accredited law enforcement agency with the New Jersey State Police, and he will continue to oversee the SICPD’s social media accounts and website content. 
In June, Bradshaw will be honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for stopping the most DWI’s in the SICPD during 2015.
“I am happy to promote Bill Bradshaw to Detective Sgt.,” said SICPD Chief Thomas D’Intino May 5. “I have a lot of confidence in him, and I’m sure he will continue to serve our community with honor and integrity.”
