SEA ISLE CITY — Mother Nature cooperated with cool temperatures and cloud cover for the running of the Ocean Drive Marathon, Sun., March 25 from Cape May to this city, a bit over 26 miles.
Overall winners of the event were:
First, Brian Waters, 29, of Harrisburg, Pa., who completed the course in 2 hours, 49 minutes, 14 sections.
Second was Brian McNeice, 40, of Narragansett, R.I. with a time of 2 hours, 50 minutes, 28 seconds.
Third went to Tom Beekhuysen, 48, of Herndon, Va. whose time was 2 hours, 52 minutes, two seconds.

Lower Township – I wish when people are putting kids on the bus for other parents who can't, they would learn to control them a little better. Kids aren't supposed to jump and climb on people's fences…
