Hamer’s Karate School’s Kids’ Christmas Party Brings Many Smiles

By Al Campbell

WHITESBORO — For the 13th year in a row, less fortunate children from around the county were treated like royality at the Martin Luther King Community Center as Hamer’s School of Karate made the Christmas season brighter for a host of children.
Highlight of the day was the arrival of Santa and Mrs Claus atop a Court House fire truck.
Many of the parents of Hamer’s School of Karate students joined to make the party a success. Joining them were members of various Middle Township emergency responders and police.
All children who attended, over 100, got a new coat and some toys to make the Christmas season a joyous one. In addition, there was plenty of food, especially the kind that youngsters enjoy, pizza and cheeseburgers.
