WILDWOOD– Over 1000 bikers will be traveling to Wildwood this weekend. On Sunday April 25 the Ride the Wave motorcycle run will be departing the Camden water front heading down Route 55 and Route 47.
The event is held to raise financial support for the Burlington County 200 Club and Camden and Gloucester County Hero Scholarship Funds, whose missions are to provide financial and educational support to the families of fallen public safety personnel, particularly those killed in the line of duty.
This years ride will also feature guest rider Joey Vento. Mr. Vento, the owner of Geno’s Steaks in South Philadelphia, has been a huge supporter of public safety personnel and has helped countless families of emergency services workers through fund raisers held at his business. Mr. Vento will speak and then lead the ride to Wildwood.
The New Jersey state police and Middle Township police will be providing traffic control as the bikes make their way down Route 47.
The group will be departing Camden with a police escort at 10:00 a.m., and are expected to arrive in the northern part of the county around 11:30 a.m.

Route 347
Tyler Road
RT 83
Court House-Dennis Road
Indian Trail
Bayshore
Railroad
US 9
Fourth st
Wildwood Blvd and GSP
Middle Township will man US 9 and Railroad ave. Manpower permitting police will also pick up Indian Trail and Bayshore Road intersections. Middle Township Fire Police will assist at the other intersections.
