Environmental Commission to Hold Community Clean-Up Event, Nov. 7

COURT HOUSE – Volunteers are invited to participate in the Middle Township Environmental Commission’s Community Clean Up Event Nov. 7.
Participants are asked to gather at the Martin Luther King Center, located at 207 West Main Street in Whitesboro, for registration from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Volunteers will receive gloves, safety vests, trash bags, water and maps of the sites to be cleaned up. The Clean Up Event will take place from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m., and lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m.
“Community involvement is the key to success in any town,” Mayor Tim Donohue said. “We encourage individuals and local groups to join us for Community Clean Up Day.”

Rain date is Nov. 14.
