Four members from the Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program attended the Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference in February in Atlantic County.
4-H club members Eddie Hoover, Scales and Tails, Chloe Pinkerton, The Wranglers, Autumn Richards, Tightlines, and Amelia Worthington, Science Rocks, joined 4-H’ers from 5 other counties at the leadership conference especially designed to give middle-school age 4-H youth the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference provides an opportunity for sixth to eighth graders to learn about and develop their leadership skills through interactive and fun activities. Additionally, participants meet 4-H’ers from across New Jersey; make new friends and gain valuable personal development in understanding self, communicating, getting along with others and decision making.
