SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City Mayor Leonard Desiderio will host his 25th Annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive beginning Thanksgiving Weekend. For a quarter-century, this event has assisted hundreds of adults and children, including elderly shut-ins and others who otherwise would not have a happy holiday.
Beginning Nov. 24, donations of unwrapped new toys, non-perishable food items and gift cards can be taken to drop-off locations around Sea Isle City, including City Hall, 233 JFK Boulevard (on the second floor and in City Council Chambers on the third floor); First Bank of Sea Isle City, 4301 Landis Avenue; Kix-McNutley’s Package Goods on 63rd Street; Mrs. Brizzle’s Buns & Deli, 4411 Landis Avenue; Rick’s Breakfast House Restaurant, 6114 Landis Avenue; and the Sea Isle City Welcome Center, 300 JFK Boulevard.
All items collected during the Toy and Food Drive will be delivered to local families in need prior to Christmas Day.
