DENNIS TOWNSHIP — Students recently enjoyed a science lesson come to life when the Cape May County Zoo’s mobile education program visited the third graders at the Dennis Township Primary School.
Learning about animal adaptations in class gave the children a unique opportunity to see some of those special animal features in real life.
“We learned that alligators have a second clear eyelid, like little goggles, that allow them to see underwater, and when the zoo came, we got to see it!” explained Ashlynn Doherty, a student in Mrs. Alison Curvan’s third grade class.
Students had a chance to get up close and personal with all sorts of cool critters including the alligator, a wallaby, snakes, a skunk, and turtles.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
