Crest presents 2009 music lineup

The Borough of Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will once again present its free summer live music series from late June through August.
On Mondays, free live music will be held on the deck at the Crest Pier Recreation Center at 5800 Ocean Ave. at 7:30 p.m. from June 29 through Aug. 31.
On Wednesdays the performances take place at the Gazebo-by-the-Sea, Rambler Road and the beach at 7:30 p.m. from July 1 through Aug. 26.
In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the Crest Pier, 5800 Ocean Ave.

June
29: Michael James—Taking you back in time with the songs you know and love from the ‘50s through the ‘90s.
July
6: Star Band—All the great party music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

3: Suite Inspiration—Doo Wop, Motown and oldies classics.
10: Star Band.
17: Michael James.
24: Michael James.

Wednesday performances
July
1: The Accords—Doo Wop, Motown and oldies from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
8: Pins and Needles—Classic rock favorites.
15: MPH—Acoustic pop, folk and country music.
22: Sweeter Than Honey—Classic rock and pop tunes with a twist by a band whose members are teenagers.
29: Star Band.
August
5: Star Band.
12: Mark Rust—Pop music favorites for the entire family.
19: Star Band.
26: The Accords.
