County 43rd Annual Senior Art Show to Open with New Location, June 7

COURT HOUSE – The 43rd Annual Senior Citizen Art Show will be open to the public June 7 at 12 noon with the reception June 8. This year’s show will be held at the Atlantic-Cape Community College campus in Cape May Court House on Court House-Dennisville Rd. and will be on display until June 27.  The show offers both professional and non-professional artwork of Cape May County senior residents. All levels of artists are encouraged to participate.
Applications are available as of April 1, 2017 and will be at all Cape May County Libraries, County Senior Centers, and the Division of Aging and Disability Services office in Rio Grande. Senior artists that had participated in the 2016 art show will receive applications in the mail. Also, you can call the Division of Aging and Disability Services for an application to be mailed to you. The number is 609-886-2784.
The applicant must be 60 years of age or older and a year round resident of Cape May County. The application needs to be returned to the Division of Aging and Disability Services office no later than May 24, 2017 to be accepted into the 2017 Senior Art Show. First place winners of this show may be eligible to have their work entered into the NJ State Senior Citizens Art Show.
