County 4-H Members Learn Leadership Skills at 4-H Discover the Leader in You! Conference

COURT HOUSE – Five members from the Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program attended the Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference Feb. 1, in Atlantic County. 
According to a release, Cape May County’s representatives joined 4-H’ers from seven other counties at the leadership conference specifically designed to give middle-school age 4-H youth the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
Cape May County 4-H club members who attended the leadership conference were: Yadiel Torres, Teen Ambassadors, Autumn Richards, Tightlines, Needle and Thread, Canvas & Brush, Scales & Tails, Science Rocks, Teen Ambassadors, and Kitchen Phanatics 4-H clubs, E. Diego Roman, Teen Ambassadors, Needle and Thread, and Kitchen Phanatics 4-H clubs, Rebecca Arcuri, Needle and Thread and Canvas & Brush 4-H clubs, and Eddie Hoover, Canvas & Brush, Scales & Tails, Tightlines, Gadgets and Gears, and Science Rocks 4-H clubs,
Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference provides an opportunity for sixth to eighth graders to learn about and develop their leadership skills through interactive and fun activities. 
Additionally, participants meet 4-H’ers from across New Jersey; make new friends and gain valuable personal development in understanding self, communicating, getting along with others and decision making.
