CREST HAVEN – The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and newly-formed Policeman’s Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 401 tossed their razors for No Shave November.
‘No Shave November’ is a month-long endeavor when participants put down their razors to raise cancer awareness. The concept is to cherish and embrace hair, which many cancer patients lose, with the hopes of evoking conversation and funds.
About 80 employees participated from the County Prosecutor’s Office and Local 401, including men and women eager to support the cause. Each participant donated $50 which was the estimated expense of razors and shaving supplies that would be used for the month. Altogether, $5,000 was raised during ‘No Shave November’ with the funds benefiting an employee from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Local 401 is a new union in the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office which intends to increase community outreach and involvement.
Chief Paul Skill and PBA 401 President Joe Berg explained the already seen benefits of this new union. In just the past two months the group raised over $10,000 and plans to do many more events in the near future to aid the local area.
Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor, part of the ‘No Shave November’ campaign, expressed his sentiment about the new union.
“I am happy about Local 401 and support its efforts 100 percent,” Taylor stated.

Cape May – I am enjoying the meltdown from so many Leftists on president elect Trumps picks for his cabinet and their stating that he is bringing on people with zero experience in government. Yes, you nailed it…
