CAPE MAY CITY– The Coast Guard assisted two people aboard a 20-foot boat five miles off the coast of Cape May Monday.
The Coast Guard received a call at 5:04 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the Nocturnal reporting they were taking on water.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May arrived on scene and provided a pump to the crew of the Nocturnal, which was able to dewater the boat.
The rescue boat crew towed the Nocturnal and its crew and moored them at Spicer Creek in Cape May.
