Coast Guard and Maritime Theme Art Show Opens at The Mad Batter

The Second Annual Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation Art Show will be held at the Mad Batter in Cape May from April 11- May 9, 2019. A public opening reception is scheduled for Sunday, April 14 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome.

The exhibit will be on display to view at the Mad Batter Sunday – Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All artwork will be available for sale and proceeds from the sale will benefit the foundation in support of its mission.

The Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation, a non-profit organization, honors Coast Guard personnel and their families for the extraordinary role they play in our nation and our community; celebrates and educates regarding the many deep connections that exist between the Coast Guard and Cape May County. Cape May County is designated as a Coast Guard Community, and the Foundation’s activities support the designation.

The Art Show will launch the upcoming 2019 Cape May County Coast Guard Festival Week.

On April 27, the Southern New Jersey Coast Guard Ball will be held at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Tickets are available for the public to purchase at www.eventbrite.com.

On May 4, the Coast Guard Community Festival will take place at the United States Coast Guard Training Center Cape May. A family friendly event that will include search and rescue demonstrations, Coast Guard vessels and helicopters, live entertainment, a kids’ zone, food trucks, vendors, and much more!
