Coast Guard Auxiliary Holds Change of Watch Ceremony

BEESLEY’S POINT – United States Coast Guard Auxiliary held its annual Division 8 Change of Watch Ceremony at the Tuckahoe Inn Dec, 7.
According to a release, Division 8 is comprised of seven flotillas representing over 450 volunteer auxiliarists throughout Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, and Salem Counties.
Attending the Change of Watch Ceremony was U.S. Rep. Jeff Van, (D-2nd), who presented the division with a Congressional Proclamation that recognized Division 8 Auxiliarists for their contributions to the citizens of New Jersey and the United States.
Accepting the proclamation on behalf of Division 8, was Joseph Giannattasio, district chief of staff, District 5th Northern; Thomas J. Dever, district commodore, District 5th Northern;James E. Hans, division commander, Division 8, 5th Northern.
