How they met: Kyle and Lauren had been working together. Lauren had been eyeing him up for a few months when they were set up by a mutual friend.
The proposal: Kyle had taken Lauren on a carriage ride one night and proposed in front of a fountain in Cape May.
The planning: Lauren and Kyle took two years to plan their big day. They both grew up in Cape May so it was no question as to where they would get married. They did everything themselves. All of the signs used, the flowers; every detail of the wedding was done by the couple and their loved ones.
The wedding: Lauren and Kyle shared their vows on September 26. They had a complete family affair, including Lauren’s uncle that officiated the wedding and required their first “selfie” as Mister and Misses at the altar.
Lauren’s favorite moment: Lauren recalls that walking down the aisle to meet her future was the greatest moment. “This is a memory I wish I could bottle up and save forever,” she said. Lauren also loved her 18 person honeymoon to Mexico. Close family and friends accompanied the couple to Mexico to continue the party from the wedding.
