Villas Head Start Center Joins Historic Cold Spring Village for Story Hour

From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, Villas Head Start Center will join Historic Cold Spring Village at the Village Welcome Center for Story Hour. Head Start promotes school readiness for children under 5 from low-income families through education, health, social and other services. The Head Start and Early Head Start programs are administered by the Office of Head Start, within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Other April Story Hours will take place on Wednesdays, April 5 and 26 at 10:45 a.m. Each April Story Hour will focus on woodworking, pottery, basket weaving or tinsmithing. Stories will be read regarding each trade and afterwards children will build a take home craft. 
Historic Cold Spring Village is a non-profit, open-air living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community of the Early American period. It features 27 restored historic structures on a 30-acre site. Admission during the season is $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 3 are admitted free. Unlimited free admission is available with Village membership.
