Gleeson’s Liquors, Route 9 and Sea Isle Boulevard in Ocean View, Dennis Township’s only liquor store, celebrates its first year anniversary by honoring you with their First Annual Customer Appreciation Day!
During Gleeson’s first year in business, they focused on launching a variety of customer service programs and events. For example, Gleeson’s spotlighted a wine or beer every week with tastings on Fridays and Saturdays.
Some of Gleeson’s past tastings have included craft beers such as Beach Haus & Victory, a vast array of wines and most recently over Memorial Day Weekend the much sought after Skinnygirl Margarita.
As a result of the response to the Tastings, Gleeson’s is continuing the program through the Summer 2011 season. Call the store for tasting times.
In addition to the tastings, Gleeson’s also held their First Annual Wines of the World Event, which was well attended and will repeat in April 2012.
Also implemented during the first year were periodic giveaways of unique brand merchandise such as a Heineken cooler, a kayak, Budweiser firepit, Mike’s Hard Lemonade bicycle, and many other unique items.
Since opening their doors in 2010, Gleeson’s has listened closely to their customers and have made adjustments to their offerings by expanding the wine section to include collector wines section — Cakebread, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellar, Silver Oak and Opus One and offering higher end products such as Anejo Patron, Gran Patron, Jose Cuero Reserva DeLa Familia, Johnny Walker blue with Cask, Balvenie 17 year Rum Cask and 17 year Madiera Cask, and Hennessy X.O.
Whether you are interest lies in supporting green production, locally grown, or sulfite free, Gleeson’s has a wine for you — organic wines by Bonterra, wines from Benzinger in California a self-sustaining vineyard, producing certified sustainable grapes.
Local wines such as Tomasello, Bellview, and Valenzano, are available as are sulfite free wines.
There’s plenty of new wines, beers, and spirits on the shelves at Gleeson’s for the 2011 Summer season, including whipped cream flavored vodkas by Pinnacle, Chocolate Shop Red Wine, Adult Chocolate Milk (as mentioned on Chelsea Handler’s Show), Danny Boy Whisky, Nuni Lite low-cal mixers, and plenty of new craft beers.
