CAPE MAY – Tara Shipley is Sturdy Savings Bank’s Employee of the Quarter. Shipley, a 12-year Sturdy employee, is the assistant manager in the Bank’s Deposit Services department. She initially worked as a head teller and customer service representative in Sturdy’s Dennisville branch before being promoted to the traveling assistant branch manager position.
Shipley joined the Bank’s deposit services department in 2004. She provides support for Sturdy ’s eight branches, and also assists customers. Additionally, Shipley serves on several committees to enhance customer service.
Shipley, a Cape May County native, was cited for her customer service skills and project management expertise. She participates in many Bank sponsored events, including Little League opening days and holiday parades.
“Tara is an integral part of our team and we appreciate her dedication to Sturdy Savings Bank,” said Gerald L. Reeves, president and CEO.
