State Association of Realtors Lists ’08 GRI Class

By Herald Staff

ATLANTIC CITY – The New Jersey Association of Realtors presented 68 Realtors and Realtor-Associates® with the Graduate Realtor Institute designation, at a ceremony during the Triple Play REALTOR Convention and Trade Expo in Atlantic City Wednesday, Dec. 10.
“This year, in an effort to better serve their clients, 68 Realtors took it upon themselves to earn this designation,” said 2008 NJAR President Drew Fishman. ” Realtors with the GRI designation are considered leaders in the real estate profession because the designation course work is demanding and provides instruction on a wide variety of topics to help them better navigate the complexities of the real estate industry.”
GRI is a nationally recognized designation attained by members of the National Association of Realtors after successfully completing a rigorous 90-hour program of course work covering various areas of real estate including: ethics, technology, business development, financing, fair housing and legal issues. Additionally, members may choose to complete the GRI Broker Course. The course is comprised of the supplemental courses that, along with the GRI designation, satisfy the education requirements for the New Jersey broker license.
NJAR® offers GRI courses throughout the year at various locations. Each graduate received a certificate of completion and a GRI pin at the ceremony.
