Spring Gardens Are Blooming

By Press Release

As the weather changes, a new spring season blooms and many homeowners are overcome with eagerness to head outdoors and begin working in their gardens.
Flowers are on everyone’s minds right now, whether they be annual, perennial or hanging baskets. You may for example, want to plant flowers in your front yard, but it’s always sunny. What would work in that situation?
Geraniums may be the perfect answer. Geraniums come in a variety of beautiful colors and are just one of the many annual flowers that tolerate the sun and provide beautiful color throughout the growing season.
If you are hoping to save a little at the grocery store this summer, try planting your very own vegetable garden.
Secluded Acres starts the plants for you. Their fruit and vegetable plant line includes varieties of tomatoes.
This is South Jersey after all so think peppers, cucumbers, squash, green beans, eggplant, watermelon, cantaloupe, and more. There is nothing better than eating fresh vegetables that you have planted, tended, and picked yourself from your own garden.
The Garden Center also has many flowering shrubs such as the popular Endless Summer Hydrangeas and Knock Out rose bushes. If you are looking for larger trees and shrubbery to provide privacy or shade, consider an evergreen Arborvitae or a beautiful flowering shade tree like a Weeping Cherry tree.
In addition to adding flowers and plant-life, eye catching features can make a lawn or garden space sparkle. Investing in bird feeders, bird baths and houses add life and sounds to your backyard that make sitting out a special treat.
Plus it’s nice to give our feathered friends a place to nest and feed.
Light houses, wishing wells, statues, fountains, garden ponds, etc., illuminate your style and landscaping ideas.
If you are uncertain about your choices, always refer to a professional for help, and remember that you can always decorate in stages.
From soil, mulch, and flowers to lawn ornaments, ponds, and gifts, Secluded Acres Farm is your one-stop shopping gardening store. So as the spring and summer seasons blossom before your eyes, remember your local garden centers are ready to meet and serve your outdoor needs.
