SEA ISLE CITY – Following their annual Card Party Fundraiser in September, which drew the largest crowd to date, the Sea Isle City Women’s Civic Club made sizable donations to two local food banks. On Oct. 20, the resort’s longest-standing organization gave checks for $1,500 to the Saint Casimir Food Bank in Woodbine and to the Holy Redeemer Food Pantry in Swaiton.
The Sea Isle City Women’s Civic Club, which is the resort’s oldest organization, has a respectable history that spans more than a century. Civic Club members are well known for their generosity and community support.
For more information about the Women’s Civic Club, call (609) 263-8149 or stop by one of their weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. in Sea Isle City’s Community Lodge, 300 JFK Blvd.
