Paul received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology with a minor in biochemistry from Millersville University in Millersville, Pa. While working at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., Paul planned to submit a PhD application and study molecular nutrition. However, after receiving acupuncture treatments, Paul became extremely interested and decided to take that route instead. He went on to complete a four-year post graduate medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Ore. Additionally, Paul trained in China learning about holistic and natural medicine.
