Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation Distributes $110,000 to 24 Local Charities

OCEAN CITY – Thanks to the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation, 24 charities in Atlantic and Cape May counties will have reason to celebrate this holiday season. On Dec. 15, 2016, the philanthropic arm of Ocean City Home Bank distributed grants totaling $110,000 to the following nonprofit organizations:
Adelaide’s Place
American Red Cross
Atlantic City Ballet
Atlantic City Rescue Mission
Cape Shore Chorale
Career Opportunity Development, Inc.
Community Food Bank of New Jersey
Eagle Theatre
Egg Harbor Township Dog Park
Every Breath Counts
Faces 4 Autism
Family Promise of Atlantic County
Farmington Fire Company
First Night Ocean City
Humane Society of Ocean City
John R. Elliott Foundation
Ocean City Arts Center
Ocean City High School After Prom
Ocean City Historical Museum
South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble
South Jersey Cancer Fund
The Alcove
Ventnor City Cultural Art Center
Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.
“Whether they’re assisting cancer patients, caring for homeless pets or providing food to those in need, these charities have a tremendous positive impact on our community,” said Jean Jacobson, President of the Foundation. “It is truly a privilege to support the dedicated and selfless people who devote their time to helping others.”
The grants distributed at the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation’s reception bring the organization’s 12-year donation total to more than $1,283,000.
