COURT HOUSE — Laurence E. Morier, III, has joined Sturdy Savings Bank as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer. A longtime local resident, Morier has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial and lending fields.
“Larry offers a unique perspective, having worked as a lender and for diverse business entities. His broad knowledge and experience will be a true asset to Sturdy Savings Bank customers,” said Gerald L. Reeves, Sturdy President and CEO.
Morier most recently served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Cape Bank’s Commercial Lending Division. He was a commercial and business construction lender early in his career, having worked for the former Union Trust Company, Marine National Bank and First Pennsylvania Bank. Morier was responsible for commercial mortgage banking on a national level as a partner and the President of Quaker Capital. He previously served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Morey Organization in Wildwood, and as Treasurer of the DeMutis Group of Phoenixville, Pa.
He has actively volunteered over the years with numerous community and non-profit organizations.
