Montreal Inn Celebrates 45 Years

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – The Montreal Inn is celebrating its 45th year on the oceanfront in Cape May, NJ. The hotel has just finished the first stage of a three-year renovation adding new amenities for guests at the 70-room hotel. “The renovations include upgrading all hotel rooms with spacious new bathrooms, contemporary furnishings and flat screen TV’s. The only thing we didn’t touch is the ocean view”, said Larry Hirsch, who shares the day-by-day responsibilities of the Montreal with his brother Joe and son Jonathan.
“Harry, our father, still makes sure we are keeping things up to his standards, said Joe. “HH, as he is known, watches our every move, continued Hirsch. “We have guests who have been visiting us yearly for over 45 years. It’s great to see generations of families returning with new members each year”. Our guests have become like a extended family and now with Facebook, we stay in touch with them all year long,” continued Larry Hirsch.
“Our guests love the hotel’s family atmosphere, but it’s always important to keep things fresh and new” points out Jonathan Hirsch, third generation of the family. “We recently renovated and reopened our restaurant last year and named it in honor of my grandfather Harry, and now it was time to upgrade the hotel amenities as well. We are expecting another amazing season and reservations for 2011 have been brisk, and 2012 predictions are even more encouraging. This may surprise many, but it’s not unusual for our guests to reserve two years in advance in order to keep their favorite week and room location. We are blessed to have a loyal family of friends who visit us year after year”, continued Jonathan Hirsch. “It’s now my chance to keep the tradition going for another 45 years”
The Montreal Inn officially opens for the season on April 15th. 2010. The hotel is located on Beach Ave. in Cape May, NJ. For more information on the hotel visit. www.montrealinn.com.
