COURT HOUSE — Barbara Whitlock and Tom Gore of South Seaville, N.J., are the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteers of the Month for April, 2015. MAC Volunteer Coordinator Barbara Hubmaster nominated them for all they do for MAC.
For close to five years, they have been volunteering at various MAC events, including Christmas Candlelight House tours, the annual Craft Beer & Crab Festival and the Cape May Designer Show House. They are often volunteering at the same event but in different ways. Tom might be directing traffic at the Craft Beer & Crab Festival while Barbara is helping take tickets or provide information to visitors.
“Barbara and Tom have been volunteering with MAC for a number of years now,” said Hubmaster. “They help us in so many different ways and are a true pleasure to work with.”
MAC benefits from the expertise of members of the community in a variety of ways. The Volunteer of the Month award is given to a person who demonstrates a high degree of dedication, commitment and constancy to MAC’s volunteer program.
