NORTH CAPE MAY – Lower Township celebrated Independence Day with a fireworks show and festival on Tuesday, July 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. along the beach front in North Cape May. Many hundreds came out to enjoy picture perfect weather and festivities along the bayfront, where vendors and amusement rides and food vendors were set up. Musical entertainment included Doo Wop singers and mummers groups. The event was sponsored by Lower Township Recreation Department and the Delaware River and Bay Authority.
