For 35-years, this locally owned and operated school, nestled in an old church off of Route 9 in Erma, has provided Cape May County students with the finest classes in dance and gymnastics disciplines.

Recently chosen by two dance publications, as one of the top 10 schools on the east coast and one of the top 50 academies in the nation, Jersey Cape Dance & Gymnastics Academy offers classes to all children whether they are seeking or currently in a professional career, wish to compete nationally or just have a burning desire to dance or perform gymnastics. Classes are small with no more than 10 to 12 students in each, individual attention needed for personal development.

An open-door policy, in effect for all classes held in our dance rooms and gymnastics facility, allows parents and guardians to observe the hard work and discipline their children to learn and accomplish.

Admission to the school is open to all from the ages of 18-months to 18-years-old. They have competitive and non-competitive classes, as well as a large selection of pre-school classes in dance and gymnastics for both girls and boys.

Three of Jersey Cape Dance Academy’s national teams have appeared on television in the past five years. “Pixie’s Six,” seven girls from the ages of 7 to 9, were on season 4’s top 40 of  NBC’S America’s Got Talent, and several years ago 7 girls called “Unity In Motion” were the only team from New Jersey to make the top 48 of America’s Got Talent out of 75,000 acts. Another ensemble, “Shore Thing”, was one of 18 acts chosen from auditions held in the country for the CBS show “Live To Dance,” produced by Paula Abdul.

Students at Jersey Cape Dance & Gymnastics Academy have been backup dancers for some of the biggest names in the Entertainment industry including Justin Timberlake and Mariah Care Our students have also gone on to dance on Broadway in Annie, A Chorus Line, Cats, Peter Pan, Grease, 42nd Street, The Producers, and Mama Mia.

Multiple class tuition at our school is within an affordable range, and are considered the best price in South Jersey; plus military families receive a 10% discount. Once enrolled, a youngster can choose from any of the dancing arts; be it ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, or hip-hop.

Additionally, all varieties of gymnastics and contortion training are offered, with a power floor, trampolines, air track, a balance beam, and gymboree equipment at the disposal of our students.
