Jack’s Shack Adds Entrees

By Press Release

Jack’s Shack, in the Harbor Square Mall on 96th St., celebrates its 3rd anniversary of serving residents of and visitors to Stone Harbor.
In celebration, John and Deanna Wilson, owners’ of Jack’s Shack and die hard baseball fans, will start Phillies Phridays starting on Friday, June 17, and run every Friday thereafter through the summer.
Phillies Phriday’s will feature ballpark menus of the Yankees, Mets and Phillies. Jack’s Shack first opened its doors in 2009 and is open year round.
In its inaugural year they served summer takeout shore-fare such as cheesesteaks, hot and cold sandwiches made with quality Boar’s Head meats, soups, fries and many other shore favorites. With it gaining popularity each year, John and Deanna continued to expand the menu.
New for the Summer 2011 season, John, Deanna, and the staff at Jack’s Shack are now serving entrees. Stop in and taste one of the plentiful platters such as the veal, chicken or crabcake platter, the filet of grilled grouper or any of the many others they offer.
Looking for comfort food? Jack’s Shack also has a meatloaf platter served with potatoes and fresh steamed vegetables sure to become a favorite.
John’s experience comes from family operated delis — eight in the past 40 years, and as many as five at one time, in the Philadelphia area.
Deanna, originally from Cherry Hill, brings catering and cooking experience to Jack’s Shack.
Jack’s Shack’s dining room seats up to 45 and can be reserved for private events. All entrees are also available for take-out.
