ELMER, N.J. – The First National Bank of Elmer has announced today that South Jersey native and community banker Elizabeth K. Hulitt has joined the bank as Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer.

Mrs. Hulitt brings to The First National Bank of Elmer more than 20 years of community banking expertise and a decade of lending experience. Most recently, Mrs. Hulitt served the Southern Shore region as VP/ Lending Officer for Cape Bank, owned by publicly traded Cape Bancorp. She also worked for several community banks in the South Jersey market, including Cape Bank’s predecessor, Boardwalk Bank and prior to that, Newfield National Bank.
Mrs. Hulitt studied business administration at Cumberland County College. She is currently enrolled in the inaugural class of Leadership Cape May County, which is scheduled to certify its first class of 25 qualified students in May 2016. In November 2012, Elizabeth received recognition among her peers as a New Leader in Banking at the 2012 Horizon Banking Conference in Atlantic City. Dedicated to the relationships that she cultivates among the business community, Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May, she chairs the Development Committee for the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation, and helped shape the mission of the Customer Experience taskforce for the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce’s Education Foundation. Mrs. Hulitt resides in Millville, Cumberland County with her husband Robert and their son, Jonah.
