By Press Release

Tim Fitzpatrick, owner of Fitzpatrick’s Crest Tavern, presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Chief Matthew Gallagher and members of the Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors’ Weekend (MAPFSW) committee to benefit the 17th Annual MAPSFW Weekend scheduled for September 30 – October 2, 2016. The donation is from proceeds raised by Fitzpatrick from sales of “Support Your Local Police” t-shirts over the last few months.
Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors’ Weekend (MAPFSW) is a series of events that recognize truly forgotten heroes: the survivors of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters, including family members and co-workers. There will also be a 5K Run/1 Mile Walk on July 16, 2016 in North Wildwood to benefit MAPFSW Weekend. For more info about the Weekend and the Run/Walk, go to midatlanticsurvivors.org.
