By Press Release

The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is accepting scholarship applications from June 2020 high school graduates planning to pursue a two-year or four-year college or trade school education.
The application deadline has been extended to May 1. Students interested in applying can access the application via the chamber’s website, at www.capemaycountychamber.com/scholarships. A scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a student from each high school in Cape May County. Traditionally, home schooled students are also welcome to apply.
Last year, $8,000 in scholarships was distributed to students from throughout Cape May County.
The Chamber’s Education Foundation utilizes an online application process.
“Today’s students live in a technology-driven world. Utilizing a web-based application form is more consistent with how students learn and communicate and is also much more environmentally responsible,” stated Vicki Clark, president, Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, who also serves as executive director of the chamber’s education foundation.
The application criteria require that the student or their parent/guardian be employed by a business that is a member of the Cape May County Chamber and be a resident of Cape May County.  Additional criteria can be found on the application.
