Comcast Upgraded Fiber Optic Network

CAPE MAY COUNTY— Comcast upgraded its advanced fiber optic network late Monday, May 4.
The upgrade caused high-speed internet and voice customers to experience a 30 to 90 minute interruption of service, cable TV services was not be affected, according Margo Ferro, a Comcast spokesperson.
The maintenance was completed in a six hour window from midnight to 6 a.m
“The upgrade will give faster internet speeds as well as other advanced services for Cape May County, Comcast customers”, Said Ferro.
