Cold Spring Presbyterian Giving Backpacks

COLD SPRING — To celebrate the return to school, kindergarten through sixth grade students attending Lower Township schools will have the opportunity to receive a new backpack filled with school supplies.
The backpacks are being made available through donations from local businesses, the congregation and friends of Cold Spring Presbyterian Church.
The first 100 children to sign up for the Aug. 23 giveaway to be held at Cold Spring Presbyterian church, 780 Seashore Road, Cold Spring, will receive a backpack filled with classroom necessities such as pencils, glue, erasers, paper etc.
The children and their families will be treated to hot dogs, beverages, a movie, popcorn and pony rides (weather permitting).
