Cape May County Chamber Hosts NJ Tourism Director Jeff Vasser

The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will host Jeff Vasser, Executive Director of the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism at the organization’s May 16 meeting being held at Avalon Links. 
Mr. Vasser will give Chamber members an overview of the state’s marketing plan for 2019 and a recap of the tourism economic impact report for 2018 which will be announced by Governor Murphy on May 9.
“Tourism is the engine that drives Cape May County’s economy, and we are thrilled to have Jeff Vasser address the Chamber during the month of May which observes National Tourism Week May 5 to 11, and kicks off the summer season every year with Memorial Day Weekend,” according to Vicki Clark, President of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.
Pre-paid registration is required.  Avalon Links is located at the Avalon Golf Club, 1510 Route 9 in Cape May Court House.  Check in begins at 11:30 a.m. with the meeting at 12 noon.  Visit capemaycountychamber.com/event to register and for more information.
