OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Fishing Club’s 42nd annual Boys & Girls Fishing Tournament will be held Aug. 19.
The tournament for youngsters between the ages of 8 and 16 takes by the Ocean City-Longport Bridge. Registration for the free event is 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the tournament from 10 a.m. to noon. Prizes include trophies, rods and reels, and two bicycles for the boy and girl who reel in the largest fish. (Last week’s scheduled tournament Aug. 12 was postponed because of rain.)
